Our historic hotel boasts a fantastic Chicago Riverfront location, just one block south of The Magnificent Mile. The building, formerly known as Mather Tower, was briefly the tallest building in Chicago and is currently the most slender high-rise in the city. Our hotel was designated a Chicago Historic Landmark in 2001 and received a National Preservation Honor Award in 2006.

Ideally located in downtown Chicago along the Chicago River, this 4-star boutique hotel features modern guestrooms with free WiFi. The Art Institute of Chicago is 10 minutes' walk away.

The River Hotel’s rooms feature custom designed furnishings with a work desk, iPod docking station, premium bedding and a wall-mounted flat-screen HDTV. Select rooms offer a seating area or a kitchenette.

Hotel River features 24-hour concierge services and 3 state-of-the-art meeting rooms for business needs. A well-equipped gym is on site for added convenience. Guests can also order a yoga kit send directly to their room. Room service is available.

The Magnificent Mile is 2 blocks from this Chicago River Hotel and Millennium Park is a 10 minutes' walk away. Soldier Field and Shedd Aquarium are less than a 10 minutes' drive away.
